Get off the couch, stop eating all the cheese, and join us for another LIVE Zoom Mystery Event! In four hours, using breakout rooms each containing a clue to the mystery, we'll create a scrappy 44" x 48" quilt while bonding with quilters the world (or at least the country) over! You'll move to each room as you are ready, and by the final room, the mystery will be revealed. After the event, all participants will receive all of the clues plus some finishing options as a separate pdf. You'll need two main color families, a popper color family, and a background fabric for this quilt, and you likely have all you need already in your stash! Fabric requirements, cutting homework, Zoom codes, and even some sewing homework is all on the pdf you will download when you register.
Finding Your Design Sense will introduce you to the basics of design — balance, unity, variety, line, shape, value, color, pattern, texture and more — through in-class activities and at-home play. You’ll learn what appeals to you toward developing your design style. Then you'll go deeper into using these concepts to design quilts.
The class will meet once a month for six months, allowing time between classes to use what you learn. Sessions will be recorded and the YouTube link for recordings sent to you within 48 hours of each class. You'll receive a list of home-play activities after each class that will help you practice what was covered in the class.
