Solving your Guild’s Volunteer Problem

Recorded Lecture & Q&A

Get Your Guild's Volunteer Roles Filled — Without Begging, Guilt-Tripping, or Doing It All Yourself.

This course consists of the recorded lecture given by Bea Byrne in July 2026, plus the Q&A and the PDF workbook that accompanies it.

What You'll Learn

  • A ready-to-use perception survey that tells you exactly why your members aren't volunteering, instead of guessing
  • A fill-in-the-blank role description template (plus a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator template) that removes the ambiguity scaring people off
  • The "planted question" technique for your Q&A that gets hesitant members real answers, in front of the whole room
  • A simple onboarding checklist so new volunteers don't quietly quit halfway through their first term
  • Ten recognition ideas that cost almost nothing but change how volunteering is seen in your guild for goodList item two

Who Is This For?

  • You're the guild president, VP, or board member doing the asking — and the answering, and the doing
  • The same handful of members have carried every role for years, and you're worried about burning them out
  • You've tried asking at meetings, in the newsletter, and one-on-one, and you keep hearing the same silence
  • You want a system you can use this year and every year after — not a one-time scramble
